Pure Sports Storm Shadow Balanced Slowpitch Bat USA (2025)
The Storm Shadow features a 13" X-22 barrel and Internal PAD. The X-22 features a new type of composite that is extremely durable while still being thin. The thin barrel design allows for the efficient transfer of power from the player to the ball, maximizing performance and durability. The PAD significantly increases the amount of force applied to the ball. It is made using the same technology as the original integrity barrel. When the bat hits the ball, the barrel compresses, allowing the PAD to amplify the force of the swing. This results in a faster rebound, enabling hits to travel much further than with a traditional bat. Additionally, the PAD helps to maintain peak performance for a longer duration.

USA Softball has begun transitioning to the new USA Softball Certification Marks for the 2020 calendar year. On behalf of equipment manufacturers, the USA Softball Equipment Testing and Certification Committee requested that the new certification marks be approved for the 2019 calendar year and the USA Softball Board of Directors approved the new marks (seen here) for 2019 USA Softball Championship Play.
